This policy explains what personal information The Bev Dev ("we", "us") collects when you visit thebevdev.com or buy from us, and what we do with it. We keep it to the minimum we need.
1. When you buy
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle collects your payment and billing details and processes them under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your full card details.
From Paddle, we receive:
- your name, email address and country
- what you bought, the price and the date
We use these to deliver your products, help you with your order, handle refunds and keep the records the law requires.
2. When you email us
We keep your email and our replies so we can help you and follow up on your request.
3. Product updates and offers
We may email you about updates to products you bought. We only send marketing emails if you agree to them, and every email has a link to unsubscribe.
4. Data stored on your device
Our interactive products save your answers and progress in your own browser, using local storage. This data stays on your device and isn't sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes it. After checkout, the site briefly remembers your order in your browser so the confirmation page can show your downloads.
5. Services our site uses
- Paddle: checkout and payments.
- Google Fonts: to load our fonts. Google receives your IP address when the fonts load.
- Our web host: keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and pages visited, for security.
- Advertising and analytics tools, such as the Meta Pixel or Google Analytics, if we use them. They help us see which ads lead to purchases. They use cookies or similar technology, and where the law requires it we ask for your consent first.
6. Who we share data with
We share data only with the services above, and only so they can do their job for us. We don't sell your personal information.
7. How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. We keep emails for as long as we need them to help you, and then delete them.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- show you the data we hold about you
- correct it or delete it
- stop using it for marketing
Email hello@thebevdev.com. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the data-protection authority where you live.
9. Children
Our products are for adults, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
